Honeywell
Honeywell approached the team to design the next generation of its Total Connect Comfort platform, a smart home solution for heating, security and property management. The goal was to create a best in class experience that worked seamlessly across mobile, tablet, wearable and voice interfaces. The team was involved from the beginning, leading the design of an intuitive, cross platform system that gave users complete control of their homes, whether managing a single property or several, from the sofa or while on the move.

A clean and scalable interface was developed that allowed users to manage heating zones room by room, monitor cameras and security sensors, and set schedules with ease. The mobile app prioritised clarity and responsiveness, giving users real time insight into both comfort and safety. Users could check camera feeds, receive instant notifications and trigger Quick Actions across all devices. The experience extended naturally across tablet and Apple Watch, offering full control on larger screens and quick, glanceable updates on smaller ones to create a unified platform for both comfort and peace of mind.

Beyond the core interface, the team extended the product experience into new brand and platform touchpoints. Updated brand guidelines were created to ensure visual consistency across Honeywell’s growing product range. The team also became the first in the UK to launch a connected home voice action on Google Assistant, designing a natural language model and user flow to support hands free control. From mobile and wearable to voice and visual identity, the work helped position Honeywell as a smart home leader in a rapidly evolving category.
